🇺🇸 Last night was a special night for us at Higher Ground Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu. We take very serious when the subject is belt promotion. With the grow and popularity of the sport, as a professor I try to make sure to not water down Jiu-Jitsu. Getting promoted goes beyond on just technical skills. Character, Discipline, respect, honor are some of the values that are important to have in order to move up in the rank of Jiu-Jitsu. Congrats to all at Higher Ground Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu and Welcome Jaime Gonzalves to the Faixa Preta Club.
🇧🇷 Ontem a noite foi um momento especial para a Higher Ground Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu. Levamos muito a sério quando o assunto é promoção de faixa. Com o crescimento e a popularização do esporte, como professor tento ao máximo em manter a filosofia arte marcial no Jiu-Jitsu. Graduação vai além em apenas se basear no aspecto técnico do aluno. Caráter, disciplina, respeito e honra são alguns dos valores que se deve levar em consideração.
