“My name is Julio Felix Lang. I was born and raised in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. I’m a 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Professor/Athlete. I’ve been studying the gentle art for over 24 years, and today I’m a Co-Owner & Instructor at Higher Ground BJJ in Rowland Heights, California.

I created the brand JIUJITSOUL with a mission to strengthen the name of the sport: ‘the gentle art’ and show the true philosophy of this martial art that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. The goal is for the practitioner to see the true Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle. This art is not only a fight, but it is an art that gives you confidence, creativity, and a healthier lifestyle; physically and mentally. The objective of the brand is to represent a lifestyle of the warrior spirit, yet peaceful, (Jiujit) combined with health (physical and mental), inner peace, and nature (Soul).”
